The KTS 900 Truck module is equipped with a sturdy, mobile, workshop-orientated diagnostic control unit in the form of the DCU 220. The unit is easy to operate, and may be used as either a tablet PC or notebook, ideal for both workshop and office applications. Features on the vehicle can be documented using an integrated camera so that required spare parts can be photographed and ordered.
The Bosch KTS 900, together with ESI [tronic] 2.0 Truck unit, enables commercial vehicle workshops to easily obtain complete diagnostics from trucks, vans, light utility vans, buses and trailers. The device is equipped with two lithium-ion batteries which can be replaced without interruption during regular operation via the unit’s “hot swop” function.
Bosch also emphasises its technical hotline and remote diagnostics for all ESI [tronic] customers, whereby the company’s technical experts provide assistance with the diagnostic and repair aspects of passenger vehicles as well as trucks, minimising downtime.
Besides diagnostics solutions, Bosch offers an “around the wheel” solution for commercial vehicles. The company’s TCE 5210 proves an ideal solution for tyre services on both trucks and buses, with a working range from a rim diameter of 14 to 26 inches, as well as tyre diameters of up to 1 640mm and widths of up to 800mm. The unit’s integrated assembly trolley provides simple positioning of the rim. One-speed rotation is available in both directions.
Bosch’s WBE 5210 universal wheel balancer offers an automatic measuring process, making balancing easier than ever. The unit is able to accommodate wheels measuring 1 200mm in diameter and 550mm in width, weighing up to 200kg.
Additionally, the WBE 5210 can be used for passenger vehicle applications since five light alloy wheel programmes compliment the two which are are specifically for commercial vehicle use.
Integrated pneumatics provide effortless lifting of wheels, while a variety of equipment is on hand for both passenger and commercial applications, including basic clamping flanges with wing nuts, standard commercial vehicle flanges, and a host of other parts.
