Eqstra Fleet Management, a division of the eNX Group, has been awarded a contract to supply 249 Ford Rangers under a three-year Full Maintenance Rental Agreement to Mobax South Africa (Pty) Ltd, a leading African Telecommunication Technology group based in South Africa . The vehicle deliveries will be rolled out over the next 2 months. The outsource agreement includes fully integrated fleet management services.
“Mobax is currently under contract with Vodacom and as such is managed on stringent compliance criteria governed by the OHS Act and other international standards, regulations and by-laws such as best practices,” said Danie Labuschagne, Executive Head of Department for Finance, Mobax. “The contract requires relevant BI reports and statistics on the vehicles, and Eqstra has the systems and reporting mechanisms to meet this requirement.”
Eqstra and Mobax have entered into a Service Level Agreement that governs the day to day operations and enables Mobax to meet their contract requirements.
“Our new Quest fleet management system has the ability to customize the full range of fleet solutions required by Mobax including full vehicle life cycle management, maintenance management, accident management, roadside assistance, fuel card management and vehicle tracking,” said Murray Price, COO of Eqstra.
